Welcome to Mind Body Midlothian.

We have two relaxing studios in Midlothian, where all are welcome to reconnect mind & body.

Our studios are home to a variety of classes and movement styles where we are confident there is something for everyone.

We welcome real people with real bodies to our classes. Whether you are looking for a class to loosen off stiff joints, ease aches and pains, build strength and stamina, improve mental health or simply get moving – you are very welcome here.

Our classes are booked in blocks, which guarantees you your space. This allows us to keep class numbers small and gives our teachers a chance to get to know you, and you to know them.

Our Pilates Classes

Our Pilates classes are ideal for beginners, those recovering from injury & surgery, or aching stiff joints in general.

Our main focus in these classes is rebalancing your body, putting it back into alignment and connecting the mind & body through small, gentle, controlled movements.

All of our classes have limited spaces, to ensure our teachers can get round to each person and give the attention they deserve.

Pilates classes are available in both our Bonnyrigg & Penicuik studios.

Our Hatha Yoga Classes

Our friendly Hatha Yoga classes are an ideal way to ease yourself into the practice of Yoga.

Each class works on slowly easing yourself into different poses to challenge strength or flexibility and learning how to hold them. Connecting this with breath work and ending with a lovely guided meditation makes this a well-rounded Yoga practice 

These non-judgmental classes are perfect for those who are New to Yoga and will enable you to build strength and stamina at your own pace.

All of our classes have limited spaces, to ensure our teachers can get round to each person and give the attention they deserve.

Hatha Yoga classes are available in both our Bonnyrigg & Penicuik studios.

Our Yin & Restorative Yoga Classes
Our Restorative and Yin Yoga classes focus on reconnecting your mind and body, allowing both to let go and relax.
Holding each of the gentle Yoga poses for a couple of minutes and allowing your body to settle into them reduces the tension held and allows you to create space in your body instead. Linking breath work into this practice and ending with a relaxing guided meditation, this slow and peaceful practice will leave you feeling as floaty as a cloud!

Restorative and Yin Yoga classes are available in both our Bonnyrigg & Penicuik studios.

Our Stretch & Relax Classes

This class does exactly what it says on the tin – time for you to stretch then relax.

Join us for 30-40 minutes of stretching, followed by a guided relaxation to set you up for a fantastic nights’ sleep!

This weekly class will help you release those tight muscles, build on your flexibility as well as clearing your mind with breath work and guided relaxation time.

Our Stretch & Relax classes are currently only available in our Penicuik studio.

Our WELL MAMA Pregnancy Pilates Classes

Join former midwife Alexis for this gentle Pilates class dedicated to mums-to-be. This class not only allows you to spend some time focusing on your body, but is also an ideal place to connect with other expectant mums. 

We begin the class sitting on the stability ball to gently get your body mobilised before heading to the mat. Each week we will have a theme the class is centred around, for example, week one will cover pelvic floor health and exercises in detail, followed by some gentle Pilates and finishing off with a few minutes of guided relaxation.

It’s limited to 8 spaces, to make sure every mum is comfortable and has enough space.

Our WELL MAMA Pregnancy Pilates classes are currently only available in our Bonnyrigg studio.
